I'm a designer currently living and working in Zurich, right in the middle of Europe. This blog is about my original toy work and hobby interests. I dedicate it to Japanese artist Kow Yokoyama, creator of the Maschinen Krieger universe, which has always been a teacher and source of inspiration to me, as he is for many contemporary concept artists and illustrators of the 21st century.

1/20 Großer Hund (02)

That's why we call him Sensei! The unmanned interceptor 'Grosser Hund' has been designed by Kow back in 1985. Was then rediscovered a few years ago and offered at Tokyo Wonder Festival as a very popular fan made resin kit. By releasing it as a plastic scale model, Hasegawa not only made many Ma.K. veterans very happy again, but will also attract more new fans than ever with it, I guarantee - the kit is brilliant! I was so thrilled to start when I received it end of last week, that I almost finished it over the weekend... adding markings and decals as I write. More soon.
