I designed the top drive mechanics out from the spare part bin...
added air intakes and finished the landing gear and rear engine.




Is it a bird, is it a plane, no it's a... LIBELLE!

I used heli blades and NITTO Fliege wings in the back...

I beefed-up the cockpit... still working on the final design.

The LIBELLE is an aircraft device of my own design which I already started in 2005 (!!!) Because of some blurry old "in-progress" pics that I found recently I decited to reactivate the project before it's too late :)

I started with a 1/72 Hughes 500 kit, styren sheet and putty...
