More Kow inspired Toys... F@#k Yeah!

Ashley Wood posted a sneak peek of something that looks like it's right out of the Maschinen Krieger universe. However, from the title it doesn't seem to belong to Kow Yokoyama's intellectual property. Very intrigued to see where this goes.

Bandai x threeA - ZAKU Prototype

I already posted about the collab five month ago. Now, the ZAKU Prototype is out and soonish to be available for sale, according to Ashley Wood. The average size is estimated to be near 15 inches. Enjoy the pics and vids!

threeA - Action Portable (AP)

Here's a snapshot of my unboxed AP figures by 3A which are 1/12 in scale (please note that the TQ is a custom and not official 3A). This line particularly stands out due to its perfect analogy to the 1/6 scale toys. The body is a perfect copy of the HT 1/6 Truetype body featuring the same points of articulation and their clothes are made out of fabric - amazing details for an almost unbelievable price!

threeA has nailed the toy market especially with two radical approaches IMHO: Fully articulated robot hands and high quality fabric clothes for 1/12 scale action figures! (and Ash's design of course, lol) Hard to believe that we have had to wait so long for such improvements... expect much more to come!

A tremendous opportunity to spread the Maschinen Krieger universe to a much wider audience - this also makes me dream about the long awaited Maschinen blockbuster again - do you hear me, Ridley Scott?!! (Kow's director of choice btw ^^) Stay tuned for much more ! ! !

small update

Gundam and Co. by Ashley Wood

Don't know if you heard it, but threeA is working on a collab with Bandai. It means we'll gonna see a Ashley Wood redesign of Gundam and Zaku soon, which I'm pretty excited about. Expect more infos at C3 expo in Hong Kong on March 13th. In the meantime check out Ash's work in progress of what I hope is the box art!
