The Engine Section:
I used the Beaufighter cowling to form the engine section and "docking ports" of the nozzles (Yes, the NG Falke has a twin jet!) and went back to the overall design of the rear section ... still in progress.
HOMO FERRATUS - by makadi3000
I'm a designer currently living and working in Zurich, right in the middle of Europe. This blog is about my original toy work and hobby interests. I dedicate it to Japanese artist Kow Yokoyama, creator of the Maschinen Krieger universe, which has always been a teacher and source of inspiration to me, as he is for many contemporary concept artists and illustrators of the 21st century.

S.A.F.S. PILOT (Clint Eastwood)
Not sure if it's real or fake, but found this rare Clint Eastwood resin head. Originally made by Billiken in the mid-80s, then later in the 90s apparently a Japanese company made vinyl Bootleg heads out of it.
Just wanted to show you Clint's nice haircut ;)
Kow modified the head for his 1/6 SAFS build, which can be seen on the cover of the Chronicle Encyclopedia1 and in the Ma.K. Modeling Book.
Picture above shows the original 1/6 SAFS and Pilot by Kow Yokoyama

The Gun:
As promised, here is what I call the NG gatling gun (colloquially known as "Mad-Max"). What is actually a multibarreled laser gun with laser cartridge projectiles. The gun barrels are surrounded by a cooler housing and the wheel you see on the bottom is the ammo drum. And don't ask me how a laser cartridge projectile is supposed to work, cause I'm just talking the usual nonsense here :)

The Weapon Compartment:
I call it weapon compartement, although you never know exactly what all that gribbly bits really are fore ;)
I added a recoil suspension mechanism and some other indispensable details like cylinders, pipes and sensors...
The front "grill" is formed by a Toyota engine and truck accessories contributed the slide rail of my retractable NG gatling gun... wow
An open mechanics always helps to make things look menacing!
And next time I'll tell you more about the ... NG gatling gun! ;)

The Hatch:
I sanded down all the turret details and started the new hatch design, which I will keep close to the Falke, because like the booms, I consider it to be a significant characteristic even for a Next Generation Falke ;)
The BTR-80 (Armored Personnel Carrier) helpt me to form the dome...
Putty did the rest...
After having carved the hatch line I'm very excited to start the weapon compartment now! Stay tuned :)
